Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The word integrity is rooted in the Latin word integer, meaning "whole" or "complete" " living by your principles, choosing honesty over opportunism, making ethical choices that may be inconvenient or unpopular, maintaining your moral compass. It is not possible to have integrity and be loyal to Trump. The two are in direct conflict. No one can be honest in a regime based on big lies. As the poet, philosopher and statesman Vclav Havel put it: "If the main pillar of the system is living a lie, then it is not surprising that the fundamental threat to it is living in truth." So a choice must be made " personal integrity or loyalty to Trump.

Latest? Could you name anyone from either of his administrations who did have integrity?

Mike Pence maybe, he showed some on Jan 6th when it really counted but he obviously wasn't a cabinet nominee.

QCP - Yeah, Pence to an extent. Although he had to have his arm twisted until it was nearly broken - with intervention by Dan Quayle (!?) - to take the correct course. I saw him today on the tube, pushing a book and probably thinking he's running for prez next time around. Mike, I thought, they were ready to literally hang you, you poor, dumb bastard.

But otherwise? Like you, I come up empty from the wellspring of integrity when it comes to this bunch.
