Prosecutor Drops All Charges Against Louisiana AG Murrill

A special prosecutor on Wednesday dismissed felony criminal charges against Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, who was indicted on accusations of threatening the jobs of New Orleans officials who fought a Republican-led overhaul of courts in the heavily Democratic city.

I've been following this somewhat. The Orleans Parish Court is a schittshow. Murrill was attempting to put a stop to the shenanigans and they got uppity.

Murrill has also been moving high profile cases out of Orleans to Jefferson Parish lately.
