US Senate Rejects Resolution to Stop War Against Iran

No surprise: US Senator John Fetterman (D-Israel) voted against the resolution to curtail US military operations against Iran, allowing the quagmire to proceed, pleasing ICC-indicted war criminal Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu no end.

Meanwhile, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that Israel is going to save her personnel, resources, and money and stay out of the war, content to let Americans do the fighting and dying on Israel's behalf while the US goes bankrupt. He called it a "a blessing for Israelis," who enjoy world class universal healthcare while Americans are stuck with the BBB and austerity measures. Oh, I agree that the polls showing Pres Trump's historic disapproval ratings may have little current impact.

Emphasis on "current."

They are not going to affect Pres Trump's big stick.

But the purpose of the polls is more forward-looking than the here and now of "current.".

The folks scared of Der Dotard now will double down in their allegiance, hoping to take a bullet for their god, and to receiving some campaign funds from him for 2028.
