In the early-1990s, the late Bosnian President Aliza Izetbegovic was asked to choose between Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic and Croatian supremo Franco Tudjman to have as an ally.
He replied: "You may as well ask me to choose between having either leukemia or a brain tumor."
Like Pres. Izetbegovic or brave Ulysses, the American body politic is caught between Scylla and Charybdis.

The US doesn't send billions and billions of dollars to Russia like it does to Israel for free every year whose war against Iran is also bankrupting the US economy. Look at the trillion dollar USG debt while Israelis all enjoy world class universal healthcare -- rated top ten in the world. We have the BBB and people who can't afford toilet paper like in the old USSR.
The stout Ukrainians are able to defend themselves and conduct offensive counter-attacks against Russia. Kiev has NATO and the EU helping them with weapons, billions of Euros, and intelligence.
The Palestinians have no ability to defend themselves and are being ethnically cleansed in Gaza and the West Bank. Only the Iranians or the Houthis help them.
And since no Russian trolls harassed or stalked me on drudge.com (or other blogs), but Israeli trolls have hounded me (and others like Clownshack or Nerfherder), the closet crocodile to my boat is what gets shot first.
