I caught an error -- not a mistake -- in Stephen King's "The Stand" that his editor missed.

Agatha Christie's editors missed things a few times along the way as well.

I keep a pencil nearby when I read any books and circle the offending passage or gaffe.

One of my post-retirement "jobs" was running my own website.

I had ~100 global followers on my website, including folks in Bermuda and Macau.

The internal dashboard allowed me to see their locations.

In the old days, everyone in business and the military needed the "clerk-typists."

This typist was apparently a "prodigy."

One novelist from last century whose name escapes me for the moment was the envy of other writers.

He apparently typed up his manuscripts flawlessly and sent them to the publisher.

He was able to find the right word and craft the perfect sentence without revision.

An Australian novelist is what I'm thinking....
