Now they claim humans are controlling the weather.

The good news to come out of this is that all this publicity will land him/her a great family.

I've been a volunteer with a handful of dog rescue orgs for many years. The number of people who just throw their dogs away is staggering. One dog I fostered (we became "foster failures" and adopted her) was dropped off at animal control with the comment "she's too old. We want a new one." She lived with us for 3 years until she passed away and was an absolute sweetheart.

Dogs are NOT accessories. They are much better beings then most people on earth. Getting a dog is a lifetime commitment to care for them as a beloved family member, not an accessory to be neglected or discarded.

Heck, we'd apply if we didn't have one of our adoptees going through chemo for lymphoma and another senior with congestive heart disease. Our new stray>adoptee is young and very playful. He'd be all in on another playmate besides our cat, who adopted us.

Of course there's the "she isn't Trump" aspect, but the main message I see advocates for her as someone who'll fight for the middle class and even the scales that have tipped towards the wealthy and corporations, pretty much since Reagan. Clinton and Obama tried, but Republicans have been against everything but deficit creating tax cuts, deregulation, and "sticking it to libs."

I get 2 or 3 emails a day asking for payment that look legit but aren't.

I learned long ago to:

A. Look at the sender's email address (often not the company's domain)
B. Never click a link in an email from a company we do business with (internet, Amazon, etc etc), going to their website instead.

There's a special place in hell for someone who'd TIE A DOG TO A POST in a hurricane! WT actual F?!

Over the year we've adopted 14 dogs others threw away (strays no one was looking for), most recently 3 months ago after a month long attempt to find his family. Looks like they just threw him away. He's an absolute sweetheart. Just now, 3 months later, he's quit cowering with side of head all the way on the floor. Another poor guy who was emaciated and dirty.

Another dozen+ we've fostered until we they were either reunited with their caring families, the others adopted to wonderful forever homes.

There are two kinds of pet owners: dog lovers and dog owners, the latter treating dogs like an accessory instead of a family member.

Same with releasing his tax returns. Info we know about says he hasn't paid federal taxes in several years, including his presidency. For the same elusive reasons, he doesn't want us to know his true physical and mental condition or he would release those records. He's be scheduling interviews to show off how healthy he is, but he isn't. That says a lot right there ...

This would be preferable for most who need long term care.

One of Biden's first actions that wasn't COVID related was to propose immigration reform.

He's done so every year of his presidency. When the bipartisan bill was finally agreed on, supported by Dems and Repubs alike, Trump killed it to use it as an election issue instead of backing a much needed fix, and scaredy-cat Republicans folded.

BTW, Bush and Republicans DOUBLED our annual spending all by themselves. Then, they slashed our income.

WTF did they think would happen. Oh, ya, Dick Cheney said "Ronald Reagan proved deficits don't matter" and they set about going from 2 years of surpluses under Clinton to a $1.5 trillion annual deficit and left us with systemic deficits from then on.

Obama slashed the annual deficit by 2/3rd to $500. Trump & the GOP left us with $1.5 trillion annual deficits again

Where TF did you go to school? Did you even finish junior high?

At least some of the MAGAts may read the Constitution for the first time since 6th grade.

According to new reporting by The Oklahoman, state Superintendent Ryan Walters opened bids to purchase 55,000 Bibles for schools. Interestingly, a Bible endorsed by Donald Trump, known as "Lee Greenwood's God Bless the U.S.A. Bible," is one of only two that fits the bill"and the other one is endorsed by his son, Donald Jr.

"If the Bibles cost $60 each, and the state buys 55,000, that's $3.3 million."

The only thing keeping him alive is massive amounts of daily stimulants and steroids. The crash of drug abuse or a major stroke will get him sooner than later.
