Either way, not in our interests to help him. Particularly when pretty much the entire Western World, and much of the non-Western World, is already unified against Russia. This isn't a light switch, where we can flip coalition defense on and off on demand.
But anyway, this is all moot. Trump was on Team Putin ten years ago and nothing has changed, other than the GOP's willingness to sell out NATO and our allies to help Trump get his payoff and make sure they aren't primaried. A shame there are very few principled conservatives left who will voice their opposition to Trump's surrender to our second biggest international threat.
