-The cockpit is for men.

White men?

-a number of people (including myself) have pointed out that payroll taxes are in fact a federal tax on income,

Because it is. Sometimes an article references income taxes, and they exclude the payroll taxes.

Often times on purpose to make a political point

-Struck a nerve, eh?

You're a perpetual ball of nerves.

Everybody knows it.

-You're actually a farmer who voted for Trump, aren't you?

100% false. Way to take the low road and get it completely wrong.

-BTW do you really think that, by the responses you get, you're offering substantive conversation?

Often times ... .yes.

-I never whine about plonking people

Im just saying i could and it wouldnt matter in the least.

-Blowing off steam

Yep. Every single day here.

You're stressed to the max all the time

In fact, I'm plonking you. What substantive conversation would I miss?

none

nobody wants anything to do with you.

I wonder nothing here.

certainly not how smart you think I am.

You show up, spew rage at a half dozen posters you're clearly obsessed with for obvious reasons....then go back into your hole....and never come near an issue.

just personal attacks and run

I thought weather was most significant when landing or taking off.

I figured mid-flight weather was easy to avoid by flying above or around it.

Oh, quit crying and just spew the quote you're getting ready to use.

Or wait.....maybe you didn't realize that. Surely not....surely you know you'll be trotting out that quote very soon.

well said

-Telling people here what they think

more specifically, I'm telling you what you don't really believe.

You believe some politicians take large sums of money from donors/bribers and yet.....will instead ignore them and do what Joe Blow voter wants.

IOW, you're lying through your false teeth about it.

And.....you're dusting off your favorite quote that only gets used when democrats have some power.

Here is my Psychic abilities at work..........guess what quote that is.

Come on.......you're going to start using it very soon once dems take over congress.

Let's have it............

-Who said anything about locked up or fined?!?

then what consequences from the IRS did you have in mind for employees? IOW, what does "The IRS goes after YOU" mean materially?

-When no distinction is made between taxes and income taxes, I correct.

you misspelled "obfuscate".

and what legal liability an employee has for what their employer fails to remit in withheld taxes doesn't change the fact that employers are responsible for their portion of payroll taxes.

you're free to post examples of rank and file employees being locked up or fined when their employer failed to remit payroll taxes......if you insist the "IRS GOES AFTER YOU"

I happen to believe that statement.

But I don't think you actually do.

-If THEY don't pay, or can't pay, the IRS goes after YOU.

Whatever do you mean?

I've seen plenty of employers get chased for not remitting payroll taxes.........the IRS pursues employees when their employer fails to remit payroll taxes?

"No, they're federal PAYROLL taxes. HUGE difference."

You're gonna make that distinction now? Not the 9,000 times you insisted they were income taxes when posters like Madbomber ignore them when making the same argument about who pays taxes?

"Is a distinction with no difference"

At least you caught up to that. Which is what I was helping you do.

you're welcome

"politicians who then do whatever the donor/briber wants them to do... while ignoring whatever Joe Blow voter wants."

I'll ask you outright this question.......do you actually believe that? Those are your words so I'm assuming you think you mean it.....but do you?

Employers pay payroll taxes, regardless of their legal structure

but you knew that.

"So you were beaten before things even started.
That must be awfully frustrating"

Isn't that every single day for you?

-In U.S. history, the opposition party wins an average of 26 to 28 House seats and roughly 3 to 4 Senate seats during midterm elections.

but it has to be made big and unexpected news each time it happens.

Ratings........it's the most important thing.

-paid no current federal income tax in 2025

"Goddamit, for the 9,000th time, Social Security taxes ARE federal income taxes."

-Mathforth

FTA....

"But the monster they chase is nothing more than a phantom. Publicly traded corporations account for a mere 1-2% of all political spending."

It's not saying there isn't a boogyman, rather it's not found there.

The article distinguishes between corporate money and large individual donated money.

Elon Musk vs SpaceX for example.

Corporate money isn't a significant %......unlike what folks like Musk individually give......that's the premise of the article.

You saw that, right?

Or are you declaring the small % reported in the article as false? Fine....I'm not standing behind it anyway. Go chase down the accurate number if you think it's false.

But that would take time away from you whining about another poster here.

Which is all you'll ever do.

Voters get to pick whatever they want as an issue.

If wearing religion on one's sleeve is an issue then it's an issue.

If it's not then it's not.

-I, and many others here, know that there is a yuge difference between when Oligarchs bribe politicians with millions and when voters donate small amounts.

LOL......this is my point.

"the candidate with character, Hamilton"

Just so you know......this guy has campaigned with a bible in his back pocket quoting scripture when it suits him.

It's good to know that's no longer going to be an issue.

-No doubt you're voting for the candidate with character, Hamilton, rather than the douchebag, Marshall. Right?

nope. I voted for Hamilton....the other option.

Character? not a douchebag? unfortunately, I believe both choices come up short in those categories.

My daughter interned for Marshall for part of a summer 4-5 years ago. She also interned for our congressman.

Marshall's office was very toxic.

Anyway...none of that matters. I've met Marshall on several occasions and my trade association lobbies all of Kansas's representation in DC.

Marshall has always met with us and been quite responsive.

But I have to believe/trust the next guy will be the same. We'll see.........

slapping you around isn't obfuscating for anyone else.

Yet another obvious reality you run around shouting as though you know something others don't.
