Riots occur when a group has no power and is only able to vent their frustration. Why would any MAGA/GOP riot? They control all three branches of government and (sorry Charlie) this killing is at best a minor blip/setback. It is not a loss of a keystone to their power. If anything, this gives them a "Remember the Alamo" martyr. As history has shown, a martyr is extremely valuable and essentially impossible to counter.

I'd suggest they consult with a thermal engineer before spending ("wasting") money on paint. Yes, a black paint will absorb more infrared ("heat") from the Sun, but that is only while the Sun is shining. After the Sun sets, a black-painted wall has higher emissivity and will radiant its heat more rapidly. Not only will that lower the walls temperature faster, this will occur during darkness which, I suspect, is probably a preferable time for climbing over the wall.

When dealing with 10's of C, it's even easier to multiply by 2 and divide by 10 (move the decimal point one place to the left) before multiplying by 9 and then adding 32.

One learned to evaluate math problems and then do easy/simple calculations in one's head in the days before calculators. It's a very useful skill.
