No longer limited to pastoral duties or cultural preservation, the Church now operates as a transnational ideological actor whose activities align closely with Russian foreign policy goals. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Nicaragua and Honduras.
