"Joshua Haymes and Brooks Potteiger (Pete Hegseth's Christian pastor) pray imprecatory psalms against US Senate candidate young James Talarico (D-TX): "I pray that God kills him. Ultimately, that means killing his heart and raising him up to new life in Christ ... If it would not be within God's will to do so, stop him by any means necessary."

President Donald Trump is facing criticism from disability advocates for saying California Gov. Gavin Newsom should not be president because he has dyslexia. "Gavin Newsom has admitted that he has learning disabilities, dyslexia," Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office on Monday.
"Honestly, I'm all for people with learning disabilities, but not for my president."
"Everything about him is dumb," he added. This is at least the third time that Trump has made comments about Newsom and his dyslexia in the past week.

Tennessee GOP Rep. Tim Burchett is proposing that Congress eliminate the capital gains tax on home sales, arguing the money the IRS takes from sellers is "redundant" and that allowing them to keep and reinvest it would help stimulate the U.S. economy. "I'm going to prepare some legislation to take away the capital gains tax on a piece of property, and you know, it's just redundant," he said on a recent John Solomon Reports podcast. "When you tax people less, they don't stick it in a doggone pillow case under their bed. They reinvest it. They put it in a bank, and that bank loans it out to other people, or they buy something, buy an automobile, and under Trump's plan, American automobiles, the reduction is there."

This indicates confidence in the NYC luxury real estate market and not an exodus of the wealthy from NYC as hatemongers tried to spread during the campaign if Zohran Mamdani (D) was elected NYC mayor.

Infighting has erupted amongst conservatives online after a major voice in the MAGA media sphere expressed belief in the conspiracy theory claiming that President Donald Trump staged his 2024 assassination attempt. This theory about the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the presidential campaign trail is not new, but has to date largely circulated among fringe left-wing sources. The accusation hinges on several aspects of the incident, including the lack of scar left on Trump's ear, the situational wherewithal needed to defiantly raise his fist afterward, and the fact that the alleged gunman had supported him in the past, leading some to suspect that it was staged for political gain in an election that had existential stakes for Trump.
