Staffers for US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth broke a globe used by Gen. Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville said he would rather see Republicans keep control of the House by five seats than watch Democrats win the chamber by the same margin, warning that a "nightmare" razor-thin majority would leave party leaders "hostage to the DSA."

Top Trump administration officials are starting to point fingers squarely at SpaceX founder Elon Musk for the decision to slow down his company's Starlink satellite internet services and its military counterpart Starshield for Ukraine, which has been muddled in uncertainty over the culprit.

Looking to deflect the controversial move " which was swiftly admonished by powerful congressional Republicans and Democrats " Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday said Ukraine's access to Starlink was up to Musk and not the White House.

Billionaire technology investor Peter Thiel said he's skeptical of the U.S. war with Iran and does not believe the United States should have launched it, putting the major Republican donor at odds with President Donald Trump over one of the administration's defining foreign policy decisions. Thiel's remarks, delivered on Oct. 12 at a private event, are his most explicit statements to be revealed publicly about the war with Iran and come less than two weeks before the midterm elections in which Trump's party is grasping to maintain power in Congress.

Democrats are up in arms after a so-called polling firm that projected far-left candidates as strong contenders in several primaries admitted that it had fabricated its polling data. Wedgewood Polling, which billed itself as an election survey company, released a statement Tuesday night admitting it used "fabricated numbers" for an "experimental project to demonstrate the vulnerabilities, lack of oversight, and overall low barrier to entry in the modern political polling industry." The group's polls were cited by Abdul El-Sayed's campaign amid a high-profile primary race against Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow and U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich. The nonpartisan polling aggregator Political Polls also cited Wedgewood in the Wisconsin gubernatorial race, showing socialist Francesca Hong having an edge over Republican candidate Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis.

President Trump on Tuesday again complimented the backside of Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio), something he has done multiple times on the campaign trail as the midterms near. "I looked at his a, and then I looked at his legs, and my " I said, His a is like, it's like a pile of muscle.' Then I looked at his legs, and I said, Man, his feet are big,'" Trump said during a rally in North Carolina, talking about Husted, who is locked in a tight race with former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio). Trump's approval numbers are at record lows as voters are angry about the war in Iran and the resulting rise in gas prices and overall inflation. Corruption in government is also a top concern down the midterm homestretch.

In the southeastern city of Lyon, a tourist office building was burned. Some storefronts along the shopping streets near Bordeaux's city hall were destroyed, and the goods inside appear to have been stolen, social media videos geolocated by NBC News showed. But who knows about the robots we aren't seeing. Imagine the robot a billionaire tech oligarch may already own. ..Or do we have to imagine anymore?...

And if not, what happened to the real Susan?

The group reports encountering women who have quickly fled bathrooms upon seeing them, angry confrontations, complaints to facility staff and calls to law enforcement who are powerless to stop them because the men are following the law.

Is a miracle in the cards?
