Trump Makes Another False Statement

During a conversation onstage at a Moms for Liberty event last week, Donald Trump said something that made even me -- a seasoned visitor to Trump's theme park of hyperbole -- look around in confusion at the people around me in the audience.

"Think of it; your kid goes to school, and he comes home a few days later with an operation. The school decides what's going to happen with your child."

Someone say with a straight face that this man is not crazy.

Dementia.

Pure and simple.

If any other candidate said this, it would be headline news and we'd be talking about mental health intervention.

But not Trump. It's just par for the course with him.

Trump, if not now in a psychiatric crisis, is on the verge of one.

This could be very bad. Unfortunately, we can only count on MAGA to normalize Trump's encounter with that brick wall, his loss of sanity.

He can yammer on anll he wants about "the weave," but the old boy is clearly unraveling.

@#2 ... He can yammer on anll he wants about "the weave," ...

At what point does the Republican Party put up a new candidate for President.

Pres Biden stepped down and recommended his Vice president.

Should fmr Pres Trump step down and recommend fmr VP Pence?

LOL. Like that will ever happen.

This song just happened to appear on a playlist this evening.

Apropos advice for fmr Pres Trump?

Gunbunnies - Put a Tail on Your Kite (1990)

If you have ever flown a kite that did not have a tail, you will know that the kite darts randomly in all manner of different directions.

Similar to the recent rally speeches of fmr Pres Trump.

All over the place.

Even fmr Pres Trump acknowledges it, and tries to explain it away by this weird "weave" excuse.

Put a tail on your kite.

I don't think it's dementia.

It's just blatant lying designed to inflame the morons like Jeff that will believe it without question.

Just like the moron that believed Hilary was sex trafficking teenage girls from a basement of a pizzeria that doesn't have a basement.

"One of his followers physically attacked a member of the press at the Johnstown, Pa., rally Aug. 31. Video of the incident shows Trump actively encouraging the man as he was being tackled by security. Trump called the attack, "beautiful." Then he said, "That's alright. That's OK. No, he's on our side."

The Associated Press reported: "The crowd cheered as a pack of police led the man away, prompting Trump to declare, Is there anywhere that's more fun to be than a Trump rally?'"

"Think of it, magnets," he said. "Now all I know about magnets is this, give me a glass of water, let me drop it on the magnets, that's the end of the magnets. Why didn't they use John Deere? Why didn't they bring in the John Deere people? Do you like John Deere? I like John Deere."

"Silence of the lamb! The late great Hannibal Lecter. It is a wonderful man." Trump repeatedly has said Hannibal Lecter, a fictional serial killer, is a "great man" who deserves our "congratulations" " so why keep him out of the U.S.?

"Somebody said, Women don't like Donald Trump,'" he said in Johnstown, Pa., Aug. 30. "I said, I think that's wrong. I think they love me.' I love them."

He pointed to a group of women from North Carolina who have attended 227 of his rallies: "They're wealthy as hell. Look at them. They've got nothing but cash. Their husbands are great. But they allow them to go all over the country."

"The fake news will say Trump is rambling,'" he declared recently in Philadelphia. "No, it's genius what I'm doing up here, but nobody understands."

It's because his Base doesn't care what he says, and for some reason he's still playing to the Base and not to the swing voters.

Maybe because he can't, what with a minus 58 percent popularity rating.

No news here, same old same old, just ignore the orange pig.

It would be news when he tells the truth.

"Trump makes a false statement."

Does he know any other kind?

#18 | Posted by Twinpac at 2024-09-06 02:57 PM

Last Thursday, Trump told a panel of economists, business leaders and journalusts nd Larry Kudlow that climate change was overstated and that if all the ice in the world melted, the sea level would only rise by a few inches.(thehill.com)

None of the supposedly well-educated panelists challenged Trump's ridiculous blatant lie that only an uncurious, uninformed dope or scheming charlaran would assert. (Trump is both.)

What a surprise!!
