First Clip for Trump Film 'The Apprentice' Released

The minute-long clip features a young Trump, played by Sebastian Stan, being driven in New York City alongside his attorney and mentor Roy Cohn, played by Jeremy Strong. "The Apprentice," directed by Iranian Danish filmmaker Ali Abbassi, premiered in May at the Cannes Film Festival, where it reportedly received an eight-minute standing ovation but did not clinch any awards. The film was heavily criticized by Trump's team and Steven Cheung, communications director for the former president, described it as "pure fiction which sensationalizes lies that have been long debunked."

The film was heavily criticized by Trump's team

In other words, accurate and true.

Jeremy Strong was born to play Roy Cohn.

I think movies like this piss a lot of fence-sitters off, and make them want to vote for Trump. Almost as if it comes across as if the liberal Hollywood elite left wing media machine is ganging up unfairly on Trump.

Here's a link to the clip. Trump and Roy Cohn:

The guy playing Roy Cohn was in the series called Succession. Didn't care for his character in that, but he could be great in this role.

Everything we know about him clearly says he's unfit for office.

Most things that pisses off the trump team are usually a good thing for everyone else.

I was about to donate money to the kickstarter campaign, then not knowing much about the movie, hit the pause button. I couldn't access the rolling stone review by David Fear, but did read a Guardian review by Peter Bradshaw. I dunno if this is going to the hit piece that a lot of people are hoping for.. It focusses on his earlier life before politics and how he's molded by Roy Cohn. sounds like it portrays him as a narcissistic goofball, but not the antichrist that he is.
