The first debate in New Jersey's high-stakes U.S. Senate race included a scary moment Sunday night as one of the candidates froze mid-sentence and tipped forward, prompting organizers to briefly pause the event.

Yeah, Kim actually held up the podium to keep it from tipping over and taking Bashaw with it.
Bashaw says it was low blood sugar ("After the break, Bashaw blamed the spell on his strenuous schedule and not eating all day. 'I got so worked up about this affordability issue, that I realized I hadn't eaten so much food today,' Bashaw said. 'So I appreciate your indulgence.'" www.app.com ).
Having that sort of thing happen to me a few times, I can relate. Unfortunate timing, during the debate. Dude should have had some Gatorade before climbing up on stage.

John Fetterman, a Democratic candidate in a highly watched Pennsylvania Senate race against television personality Mehmet Oz, known as Dr. Oz, suffered an ischemic stroke -- the obstruction of a vessel that supplies blood to a part of the brain -- in May. The blockage causes brain cells to be starved of essential oxygen and nutrients. Within minutes, the cells start to die.
Five months later Fetterman sat down for an interview with NBC News where he used closed captioning technology to help manage the auditory processing issues caused by the stroke. "I sometimes will hear things in a way that's not perfectly clear," Fetterman told NBC News correspondent Dasha Burns. "So I use captioning so I'm able to see what you're saying." Oz and other Republicans have questioned Fetterman's fitness for office and attacked him for needing accommodations. ...
