Trump Picks Fox Host as Transport Secretary

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former congressman and Fox Business host Sean Duffy to lead the Department of Transportation. Duffy, who was one of Trump's most vocal defenders on cable news, is the second Fox commentator to be picked for the incoming cabinet. If confirmed, he will take charge of aviation, automotive, rail, transit and other transportation policies at the transport department, with a roughly $110bn (86bn) annual budget.

While in Congress...

Sean Duffy
en.wikipedia.org

... In 2011, Duffy voted to eliminate Davis"Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements for federal projects.[17][18][19]

In March 2011, Duffy attended a Polk County Republican public town hall-style meeting in his district.

In the video, following the passage of a state bill which would have effectively frozen the salaries of state employees, Duffy was asked about whether he would be willing to cut his own $174,000 salary.

Duffy responded that he would only be willing to do so as part of a general round of salary cuts for government employees, and insisted that he was "struggling" to get by, despite his salary being nearly three times the average for Wisconsin residents.[20][21][22][23] ...

So, is it shocking that Trump's Picks have become the Fox TV Host Full Employment Act?

Nope.

I mean... Trumpers think his Presidency is a sequel to The Apprentice, and the best show on TV!

Oz would be a leader in "incentivizing disease prevention".
Like incentivising eating healthy and exercising? LOL. Good luck. I recall a First Lady suggesting that a while ago.

I had to read that twice to make sure it wasn't an Onion article.

But I've been saying this about the Cult for a long time now; they can't distinguish between reality and the screen in front of them. Period.

They just as well as think this Presidency is a sequel to the last one, and will get good ratings.

Or that it can be cancelled if it turns out to be a Complete Garbage Dump Fire.

Well, it says several things about him.

He is a strict roman catholic, meaning he believes in myths, which guide his actions

He is irresponsible to bring that many people into the world

He is selfish and not caring of his neighbors to bring that many people into the world.

Roman Catholicism of this sort is often paired with arrogance-I've seen that countless times.

It means that there is yet ANOTHER religious whack job in the government in high office that would oppose a women's right to reproductive freedom (though admittedly the Sect of Trans shouldnt have much say in that), it does go to who ------- is surrounding himself with

It IMPLIES he may allow his roman catholic "faith" to direct his public policies

- why China decided to implement the 1 child policy?

OneNut, obviously!

You voted for Joe Biden, John Kerry, and you would have voted for Ted Kennedy if you were old enough.

Are you from California?

Nancy Pelosi
Jerry Brown

You've voted for all those people.

Stop pretending you care about politicians being Catholic.

Nancy Pelosi is a Rep, only people in her district get to vote for her.

Dwmocrats rightly worried about the end of democracy in the election but the only problem with that is that Rupert Murdoch murdered democracy back in 2000. There can be no democracy with 60% of the population brain washed. Have Republican voters ever taken responsibility for the insanity of the Iraq invasion or the war in Afghanistan or the funancial collapse of 2007? No and they never will because they can't even admit that Deorge W Bush was a complete idiot just like they can't admit Trump is a Sociopath more concerbed about those bruising his fragile ego than in anything else especcluding what is best for America.
