In exchange for dead Palestinians.

Foreign powers like Israel and the Vatican run a lot of our country, at least they disrupt things when someone like Jimmy Carter points out that Israel is an apartheid power.

CLOWN

I'd think it might be to convince Iran to stop using a proxy to attack Israel.

Ya' think.

While I condemn an opportunistic Israel for acerbating this whole thing, the U.S. still has an obligation to help Israel when they're under attack. Biden fulfilled that obligation.

By the same token, the U.S. had no obligation to follow Israel into a war that Israel started with the Palestinians. The only thing Biden did in that respect was send an envoy to talk sense into Netanyahu which, after numerous efforts, failed. Netanyahu is hell bent on the destruction of Gaza and no amount of talk from the U.S. or any go-between countries is going to stop him.

Don't forget, the U.S. has military bases in Israel. So the armament Biden is sending is to protect them. If one of Iran's proxy bombs hits a U.S. base, all hell will break loose and America will be dragged into the war not of its making.

That's what President Biden is trying to prevent.

It's mostly for Israel's expansion into what used to be Syria. Challenge them at your peril.

Israel is so much more. Think AIPAC and ADL... They currently meddle in all of our federal elections by way of bribes and their schitty donations. And the worst part is you cant be critical or you're labeled "antisemitic"

Israel is the all-time world champion of victim-hood/manipulation.

Israel is an Abortion.

No Culture, just what they Stole from others.

No concept of Humanity except Narrow Tribal loyalty.

They were dispersed for a Reason.

Expelled from numerous countries all over the World for the same reason.

Now they are Concentrating in one place.

This won't End Well....

A scapegoat is still a construct, no matter how many times resurrected.

The current population of Israel are quite different from the diaspora.

The majority are military trained and programmed for fanatical fear and loathing of the other.

It can be turned onto anyone, really, but this specific national identity is tooled to focus negatively on Arabic cultures, such as never teaching the word "Palestine" or that Palestinians even exist.

Arabic is barely spoken by anyone, regardless how useful or obviously advantageous to a nation surrounded by Arabic speaking peoples. This is by design. Ethnic isolation and rejection strategies are most destructive. And by removing Levantine Arabic's official status from recognition by the Israeli government the process of ethnic cleansing is normalized by omission of services. This 2021 article mentions the impact during the cover of Coronavirus: The absence of the Arabic language from the public sphere in Israel.

As we can see from just asking them, the general Israeli population appear ignorant to almost everything about their genocide(s), other than who is funding them.

Really? Is there a treaty or something that obligates the US to defend Israel?

FEDUP

"Is there a treaty or something that obligates the US to defend Israel?"

Sort of. The agreement has been common knowledge for a long time.

I'm surprised that you have to ask.

#15 | Posted by Twinpac at 2025-01-05 05:26 PM

No Agreement. Just "Tradition".

No Binding Legal Obligation. No actual Ratified Treaty.

Judeo-Christian Soul Brothers is all it is.

Only problem... The US is a multiethnic Secular Society.

Israel is a Genocidal Ethno Supremacist State codified by Law, to be So.

Yes, It's called AIPAC. Go look up your representative who took money from them and get back with us.

I have two very liberal millennial sons. Both have grown up and lived through enough history to loathe the Democratic Party.

They'll still vote for local Democrats, but are in no way happy with the national Democrats' actions during their lifetime.
