Francis comes from a country with a history of fascism.

When he says it will end badly, he's got particular life experiences in mind.

The Catholic church's horrific history of violence, murder and oppression makes MAGA look like mewling schoolgirls.

He's not wrong:

But he's not going to be Pope much longer, and the next Pope may revert to past historic form.

The Vatican doesn't accept immigrants and the church is richer than God.

What a hypocrite.

Pfft!

Yeah, that's what the fake pope says. The real pope, Mel Gibson, vehemently disagrees!

And the phoney right-wing Catholic cultists hate him. LOL.

The most Christian Pope of my lifetime.

Which, I suspect, is why the right hates him. A Pope actually following Christ makes them and their facade look bad.

"So the demmie anti-religions crowd here now loves the Pope - LOL..."

We've watched him and listened to what he had to say for a number of years now so, yes, compared to mostof the Megachurch phonies who want that bigger private jet and who condemn gays, don't defend immigrants and support right wing politicians who tear little children from their mothers and load non-criminal undocumented people into military cargo planes to drom them off south of our border.....yeah the Pope much more credibility as a real Christian than any of the Evangelicals I've had the misfortune of meeting. When did hate become a Christian virtue?

And now he's been admitted to the hospital.

Clearly, God smited the papas fritas for questioning our Orange Messiah (pbuh).

Let that be a lesson to all of you infidels. Disagree with Prophet Orangina at your peril!

"Who will be the next pope " and how does the conclave work?
New website sheds light on the cardinals who will elect the pontiff after Francis' death

The conclave could return a conservative, whose "appointment would send a powerful message about the direction the Church would be taking", said the Catholic Herald, or "a Pope from the developing world". A pick like the Philippines' Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle "would be hailed by liberals, given the changing demographic of the Church".

Tagle has long been one of the leading "papabili" (the contenders to be pope) as they are known in Italian, among both Vatican watchers and bookmakers.

However, in November, Italian Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican's secretary of state, or highest-ranking diplomat, became the favourite with the bookmakers.

For 11 years he has survived Francis' "regular savage reshuffles", said Damian Thompson in The Spectator.

"He is regarded as a moderate who would be able to repair the damage caused by his boss's outbursts and vendettas."

Sorry Pope, you have no power here

Ignorant statement.
Not Catholic myself, been around the religon plenty, know many believers.
To say the pope has "no power here" hilariously echoes Stalin's question about how many divisions he has.
The Poe has plenty of power, bank on it,
