Rolling Stone obtained body camera audio of officers talking before arresting students who were demonstrating to promote the rights of Palestinians. "We've been asking this question, but now what are they doing illegal?" one Texas Department of Public Safety officer asked.
Human rights lawyer Maria Kari, a co-counsel on the case, calls the recording "chilling."
