Rolling Stone obtained body camera audio of officers talking before arresting students who were demonstrating to promote the rights of Palestinians. "We've been asking this question, but now what are they doing illegal?" one Texas Department of Public Safety officer asked.

King Trump trumps the Law!

And Prince Abbott is his willing stooge.

This is a big fall from grace for University of Texas.

I can't imagine any foreign student wanting to study in the United States, but certainly not one that treats students like this.

I'm sure that most foreign students are not happy with these protesters and their anti-sematic view points. And I'm sure if their parents knew that they were spending their time protesting instead of studying they would be sent to the woodshed. That's why all these cowards cover their heads and wear masks.

People acting within the law should be left the hell alone.

That you disagree with this can only be explained by fascism.

And I am sure you don't have a clue what "most foreign students"think about anything.

Nor do you really care.

And what do you have against "sematic viewpoints" anyway.

Sematic
"Sematic" is an adjective relating to meaning or the study of meaning, often used in technical fields. It's derived from the Greek "s"ma" (sign) and the English suffix "-ic". While "sematic" has a specific meaning, it's less common than "semantics," which refers to the broader study of meaning.

"I'm sure that most foreign students are not happy with these protesters and their anti-sematic view points"

They're not pussies like you are.
They aren't scared of "view points."
They aren't scared of political protests.

Educated people understand the role of protest in healthy democracy.
People who aren't educated and don't support democracy can't understand, and want to keep it that way.

You do your level best to make sure you stay uninformed, when you post here.
You consciously choose to reject knowledge and engagement, like a ritual, every day.
I wonder if you know that about yourself.

"Following orders ... "will not be an acceptable criminal defense. Didn't work at Nuremberg.

"How Nazi's Defense of "Just Following Orders" Plays Out in the Mind

Modern-day Milgram experiment shows that people obeying commands feel less responsible for their actions"

www.scientificamerican.com

One of my psych profs in the 70's, the one with the long hair who told us acid experimenters that one day, in 30 or so years, it was going to crystalize in our brains... he ran a Milgram-ish experiment using a bucket of ice water rather than a gas chamber.

Which can be painful. But we were amazed to learn at what length others would go when they were told that someone above them was responsible.... we hadn't known about Milgram, of course.
