This Farmer Gets It (Take 9-minutes to Listen to Reason)

This is a 9-minute video recorded by an older farmer to a younger farmer who is in distress due to Trump's government contract cancellations. The old farmer clearly and respectfully spells out what has happened and is happening to rural America. He explains what happened after Reagan got rid of fairness doctrine allowing rightwing media to flourish. And he tells the younger farmer that unfortunately he was lied to about Project 2025.

Trump's government contract cancellations

What's that mean? A purchase contract, or an accustomed free money subsidy?
If a business model assumes government handouts, is it really capitalism any longer?
I for one don't appreciate funding these bums via handouts and then purchasing at profit their product.
It's like they want to socialize their costs and privatize their profit. Not to pick on the farmers- many other industries operate the same grift. Know them by their lobbies- institutional corruption facilitated by crooked pols i.e. any elected bum who takes any money from a lobbyist.

Fairness doctrine? When did the legacy media give the right fair coverage?
As to their credibility, they made their own bed by lying for so many years.

"Fairness doctrine? When did the legacy media give the right fair coverage?"

No one can help it if reality tends to have a liberal bias.

Maybe the "right" should not blatantly lie so much.

You might want to recheck your math.

Donald Trump got elected by riding on the back of a monster made up of over 30,000 lies.

"The election was stolen!"
"Climate change is a hoax"
"Vaccines don't work!"
"Deep state!!"
"January 6th rioters were victims!"

You dim-wits get fact checked and blame it on bias.

Try reality for a change. Admit you were wrong about something and I bet that bias disappears.
