The US Embassy in South Africa received a list of 67,042 Afrikaners interested in refugee status in the US under Trump's plan to relocate them in the US. The list was given to the embassy by the South African Chamber of Commerce in the US, which said it became a point of contact for white South Africans asking about the program announced by the Trump administration last month. The chamber said the list does not constitute official applications. 2.7 million Afrikaners live in South Africa, which has a total population of 62 million. South Africa has the second highest rate of gun ownership in Africa, so these Afrikaners will fit in perfectly with America. Link: za.usembassy.gov
67,042 out of 2,700,000 is a minority of 4%. These Afrikaners are racist dead-enders and there is still a white supremacist group called the AWB in RSA. The majority of the Boers are staying in South Africa, per two of their associations. Here is an AWB training poster: i.redd.it
#2: Hi Zed. The Afrikaners are indeed tied to their land and proud of their struggles against the Zulus, Xhosas, and the British. Here is their sacred Voortrekker Monument which was declared a National Heritage Site by the South African Heritage Resource Agency on 8 July 2011: sncdn.com
One must be appropriately attired when visiting the Monument which is outside Pretoria.
