The Heard and McDonald Islands are among the dozens of targets of President Donald Trump's latest round of tariffs. But they have no exports, because no one lives there.

We put tariffs on an uninhabited island full of penguins but not Russia.
Very normal administration we have here.

This is genuinely insane behavior. Not Trump's first insane behavior by any long shot. But it is one of the clearest and most inarguable examples.

Things will fall apart but one wonders whether Trump has the capacity to notice and uunderstand? The man lives in his head, and his head is a very nasty place.
