Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told a closed-door investor summit Tuesday that the tariff standoff with China is unsustainable and that he expects the situation to de-escalate," Bloomberg reports.

@#2 ... The brain dead------------- is getting ready to fold again. ...

Looks that way.

Pres Trump seems to know that his whimsical tariff approach is having a bad effect upon the economy. Trying to deflect away from that, he has turned to attacking Fed Chair Powell about not lowering interest rates.

Whimsical.
This is the best use of the word "whimsical" I have seen all year!
I'm going to have to start using this with our clients that stray far off the reservation.

Oh yes it's a great word.

We all know the only real solution is more tax cuts for multimillionaires and billionaires.

They need it so they can hoard more stolen wealth in off shore bank accounts so their great grandchildren 10 generations from now won't have to work a day in their lives.

Sorry poor people. Better luck in your next life.
