Trump signs the HALT Fentanl Act

In news you WONT see on the liberal/progressive media, President Donald Trump signed a bill into law on Wednesday that classifies fentanyl-related drugs as more dangerous substances as part of the president's broader crackdown on the country's opioid epidemic. The bill, called the Halt All Lethal Trafficking (HALT) of Fentanyl Act, was a Republican-led effort but gained wide bipartisan support in the House and Senate. It places fentanyl-related substances permanently into ScheduleI of the Controlled Substances Act, which means crimes related to the illicit drugs will require prison sentences.

I wouldn't talk if I were you Boaz. Republicans are desperate to link fentanyl to illegal immigration when the vast majority of the ones who bring it in the country are US CITIZENS. That's what this is about. Nothing more nothing less.

Laura, why are you making things up?

The majority of the drug IS NOT brought in by citizens, you idiot.

Learn something..

It was already a Schedule 1 drug.

This didn't change anything.

This bill did nothing but say the current law is the current law.

It does nothing to prevent the drug from entering the country.

It doesn't expand detection, which Biden did.

It doesn't expand operations to work with foreign governments to stop the drug, which Biden did.

It doesn't expand drug programs to lower usage or provide life saving healthcare, which Biden did.

This bill just says, "Yep, it's still a schedule 1 drug and will remain so even though it was never going to be something else."

Boaz, how stupid are you? Wait...we already know.

Fentanyl has been a Schedule 1 drug since February 6, 2018.
