JV is perhaps the world's loneliest politician. Given nothing to do but breathe and stay out of the way, his search for relevance boils down to sweeping up after his boss and waiting by the phone to be included in some group chat or created crisis. He is so self-deluded that he thinks he is Der Dotard's political heir, when most clearly understand that either (a) Trump will refuse to leave office alive, or (b) Vance will ascend to the porcelain throne in the event of his boss's death, only to stand in the corner until 2028, lest he be shived in the back.

Come the election in 2028 (if there is one) Vance will be violently shoved aside by the horde of mouth-breathers and kooks looking to take the presidency. Even now, one cannot swing a dead cat in DC without hitting a GOPer with eyes on the presidency...
