This is the only thing you need to know. Democrats want to open TSA. Republicans are refusing because they want to attach ICE funding. That's why there are long lines. ICE.

Thanks to US Senator John Fetterman (D-Israel), Markwayne Mullet's nomination for D/DHS advanced out of a Senate committee on 19 March with an 8-7 vote.

Corporate, status quo, and AIPAC Democrats will continue bleating that DHS and ICE need to be "fixed," while genuine progressive Democrats correctly assert that both police state organs must be scrapped completely, like the Third Reich's Gestapo.

Well, if ICE is in airports then they aren't on our streets ------- with us. I suppose they could hassle locals that pass through security on their way to their jobs at the food courts and other businesses. Lots of brown people work at MSP.

imo, Pres Trump's private militia will have enough ICE agents to staff the airports and also drag American Citizens off the streets.

I'm looking for an explanation of how anyone without valid entry credentials could enter the US via air. They check your passport before they let you on the plane at point of embarkation. At least that has always been the case for me.

And why couldn't CBP just as easily detain them at Passport Control?

I did hear that ICE is now assisting TSA agents at airports with long lines and high wait times.
