Mona Charen: Their choice to support Donald Trump -- Vladimir Putin's biddable spaniel -- for the party's nomination; their decision to sabotage aid to Ukraine; and Tucker Carlson's ring-kissing visit to the dictator's lair cements the status of Republicans as the useful idiots of the 21st century.

Was it actually Putin's ring that Tucker kissed?

Hitler just wanted to "realize his plans" and Poland was "uncooperative" and "forced" Hitler to attack and start World War II, Putin said in his interview with Tucker Carlson.

The fun part is that Vlad shattered all the Myths the Rwing in the US has been telling about him.

"Let's talk about what's being missed in Tucker vs Putin....

www.youtube.com

Vlad didn't blame NATO expansion for his invasion, he gave a 30 min history lesson on why Ukraine belonged to him.

He also denied the West stopping sending weapons to Ukraine would get a cease fire and peace... he said after he conquered Ukraine, then there would be peace.

The Right says China is the Big Evil.... Putin says, no, you should trade with them.

The Big Tell was when Tucks asked Putin if he, "saw the Hand of God at work" in the world... if he believed in the supernatural, as rwingers have been told Vlad is a Super Christian.

He said NO, he does not. (he's known to say that religion is an opiate of the masses)

He had no need to acquis to any of the far right's lies about him; his power is in Russia, and he only plays for division of any kind in the US.

.

So, Vlad basically ruined all of EffetMoneywar's talking points..... and everything Tucker's audience has been told.

Israel has killed more civilians in three months than Russia has in two years.

The theatre of war in Ukraine is 600 miles long.

In Israel it's the size of Los Angeles.

Stop the Genocide.

Russia isn't arming the Israeli's, We Are.

Tell the dead Palestinians families it's "whattaboutism".

I can't control Russia's leadership or their behavior.

As an American citizen I would like to think I have a voice in sending arms and funds for Genocide to Israel.

I can't control that either. The Uni-Party seeks to make boycotting Israel or even protesting too strenuously a crime.

Infringing on American constitutional rights to benefit killers of children.

But I'm supposed to care about what another country does that receives no Aid, only Sanctions, from my government.

I can't control that either.

I support not helping Israel, at All.

Nobody cares.

About either Opinion.

Just don't get Involved, at All. It's quite simple really.

No money or weapons for ANYONE.

That will never happen. Too many connected people make Bank from Wars and "interventions". The Oligarchs have the only real voice in policy at that level.

It doesn't matter who runs the country as regards Israel.

Both parties just looove Israel.

Ukraine is getting help from Europe, why isn't that enough?

It's a European war. They have more a more direct stake in the outcome.

A Russian drone attack killed seven civilians, including three children, in Ukraine's city of Kharkiv, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said on Saturday.
Synehubov said the Russian forces attacked the city of Kharkiv with Shaded drones late on Friday night.
"As a result of the strikes, seven people died, among them three children: seven-, four-years old, and a baby about six- months old," he said on the Telegram messaging app.

Twenty thousand civilians have died in Gaza since late October.

Most of the munitions used to kill them are American made and supplied.

Where is American concern about them? Why do we pay Israel to kill children?

Russia receives nothing from America but Sanctions and proxy war.

This is a foolish policy,in my opinion. Russia should receive nothing at all.

Israel also should get nothing. Or if necessary to stop the killing we should sanction them and Arm their enemies, like we do Russia for their crimes.

Why the selective morality about War and civilian deaths?

It makes everything the US does look self serving and not morally based, At All.

"Twenty thousand civilians have died in Gaza since late October."

Approximately 300,000 Americans have died since October.

"Most of the munitions used to kill them are American made and supplied."

America makes the best weapons.

"Where is American concern about them? Why do we pay Israel to kill children?"

America is very concerned. Why do we kill our own children? It is indeed a weird world.

"Russia receives nothing from America but Sanctions and proxy war."

Russia deserves nothing but grief from Americans. Ukraine is our ally and Putin is a war criminal. Best use of defense dollars ever. 5% of our defense budget to destabilize and deplete and destroy the capabilities of the Russians military is the best money we have ever spent.

"This is a foolish policy,in my opinion. Russia should receive nothing at all."

Your opinion is foolish and naive in my opinion. And probably why you will never be in charge of anything. Thank Gawd.

"Israel also should get nothing. Or if necessary to stop the killing we should sanction them and Arm their enemies, like we do Russia for their crimes."

Israel is our ally. And war is hell. They are easy to start and very hard to stop. You wanna fix war and make it work better? Go to a war college and become a general.

"Why the selective morality about War and civilian deaths?"

Thou shalt not kill. Unless they are not of your tribe and your Lord Gawd sayeth so.

"It makes everything the US does look self serving and not morally based, At All."

All countries are self serving. And America is the most self serving country in world (USA! USA! USA!) has some growing up to do still. Are you gonna help? Time to grow up now. It's a big world little poser.

Donnerboy seems to think natural deaths are the same as violent deaths by bombing and deliberate deprivation of the necessities of life. That theft and murder by an "ally" is legitimate self defense.

Your arguments are stupid. Your morality is questionable.

"Growing up", means what? Accepting mass murder by our Ally,Israel? Not just accepting this, but approving? Not just approving, but directly funding and arming the killers?

They're not MY ally. Why should I support their private murders?

War is hell? So not wanting to wage it is naive?

I'd rather be naive than complicit.

If the US had never entered either world war,I believe the world would have been a very different and better place.

There may not have even been a second world war if the first had been ignored by the US.

Nuclear Arms might not even exist.

Tending one's own garden is Prudence.

Feeding Wars is not helping anyone but war profiteers.

Diplomacy is always the last resort when the military calls the shots.

Why not give us the global number, or the number from your ZIP code?

Not really that divided.

As you correctly pointed out, there are no good guys. It's not a new wedge, it's just a blast from the past. It's Hollywood running out of ideas.

I can see Biden losing some votes, certainly. Though I'd love to ask those Biden voters what they think Trump would have done better! Anyway, that's why he has been working to have this wrapped up before too long, and why Putin doesn't want that to happen, and why e.g. Iran is attacking shipping.

It's not genius just because it works; and it's not stupid just because it fails. The politics are easy to discern. This chess game could have been played in 1850.
