Stephen Robinson, Public Notice: While [Tucker] Carlson raves about Russian grocery prices, [Vladimir] Putin has publicly apologized for the rising cost of chicken and eggs. So why is Carlson, after his obsequious interview with the dictator, providing free PR services?

Sen. Thom Tillis, one of a dwindling number of anti-Putin Republicans in Congress, recently called Carlson a "useful idiot," but this flatters Carlson with the innocence of ignorance. He doesn't cluelessly spout pro-Russia propaganda. His lies suit a larger, more insidious purpose.

Nothing was free. He was paid for being a traitor.

It's not rocket science except for a few. How many US journalists have interviewed dictators? I can think off Dan Rather right off the top.

None of them let the Dictator walk all over them during the interview... which is the point.

How many of them walked around a fascist dictatorship raving about how clean and orderly it was compared to democracies?

The places they take you in state organized visits are always clean and orderly.

Comparing Dan Rather to Tucker Carlson just confirms all of our opinions about you that you are also a useful idiot. Nothing wrong with interviewing a dictator if the interviewer's intention is to reveal honest truth nut that ain't Tucker Carlson and everyone with two living brain cells knows that.

Tucker carlson said he was an entertainer not a journalist, which is why it was ok for him to intentionally lie to you about imaginary election fraud.

Many. Putin alone? Western or US? For the US, I can think of Oliver Stone, Charlie Rose, the AP (not sure who), Megyn Kelly, and John Micklethwait from Bloomberg.

Interviews by Western Journalists of USSR leaders were used as a propaganda tool since the 1930s. What's the point of your question? They generally challenge the dictators not cower and let them just spread their propaganda when given a light reprimand like Tucker.

A lot of DR conservatives went from anti-anti-Putin, to pro-Putin.

Russian propaganda is paying for itself.

I suspect that big money Republicans would happily sacrifice democracy if they could have oligarghy instead. Now, why do average Americans support Repyblicans? I've given it lots of time considering tha t question, my conclusion is that the GOP isa collection of many various hate groups. Many targets for their hate I don't know how any woman can support them, or any black person, or any gay person, or any Jew, or any dark skinned person, or any retired person....or any thinking person.
