We just went over this at a meeting recently with our HR director. It was specifically about social media posts by employees.

there were a few folks in management who believed employees posting negative stuff about the company were protected from any consequences by the company by freedom of speech.

Dirt bag right wingers know that all they have to do is make up an accusation about foreigners or trans people or whatever, and their message of misplaced outrage gets another boost, feeding the hysteria that their supporters live for. What a shameful time we are living in.

So it began on the news outlets... But let's demonize anyone who repeated it... Sounds like Mr. Loudermill may have been encouraged by someone(s) to file in hopes of hitting a hood-lottery.

Your source for where it began is the congressman who was spreading the false information?

Unfortunately my original post was modified when this was moved to the front page because I noted that the original claim began when an anti-muslim/anti-immigration conspiracy theory account on twitter attributed a fictitious name that has been repeatedly used after multiple attacks and accidents to Mr. Loudermill. Very quickly after that the Mo Freedom Caucus posted similar along with a number of elected MAGATS did the same. Not reputable news outlets.
