So, despite the almost non-stop coverage by journalists and the hyperventilation amongst the pro-Hamas crowd, it appears that most young people just don't care very much about the Palestinians and their self-inflicted war.

I wonder if the Palestinian takeaway from this is that they didn't rape and murder enough Israeli civilian men, women, and children on October 7th.

Sometimes things are not what they seem:

Black New Yorker to Biden:

"I don't see you anywhere. I hope NY turns red because we're NOT voting for you."

@joshtpm

When I first saw this "Black New Yorker" I thought wait, that's Vish Burra, George Santos's top staffer and at least until recently head of NYC young republicans. Also long time troll of mine. And yes, far as I know he's South Asian. Lol

Then there's this...

Trump Tells 'Young People' to Blame Biden if TikTok Gets Banned

Quite the about-face on fmr Pres Trump's part (especially after he seemed to meet with a donor).

But, aside from the usual two-faced aspect of fmr Pres Trump, the reason I posted it as to highlight how the campaigns are looking for the youth vote.

The atrocities have only begun to be uncovered.

Institutional divestment from Israel is inevitable.

Just means more bargains for the rest of us.

Also, "Ohio State University says it legally can't divest from Israel," www.msn.com so good luck with that.

I thought economic association was voluntary.

Freedom of association, freedom of speech. Freedom to not do business with killers, etc.

How exactly is refusing to invest in Israeli businesses illegal?

Especially if you don't admit the reason. If it's a purely business decision how could that be illegal?

You know how "those people" are. Lol.

Young people are just so self absorbed these days. Sad state of affairs if you ask me.

Old people are apathetic too.

Totalitarian governments want that.

Apathy comes from no control, no ability to influence policy, being poor tops the list with that.

Getting poor people to see their own interest is hard sometimes.

They're dumb.

I don't know why, but they are.

Especially trailer park old white people.

Real Dumb.

Personally, I see the results are a good thing. There are real problems confronting young people, such as housing costs, jobs, inflation, and reproductive rights and they seem to be focused on those.

Shows that most of them aren't easily distracted by the manipulation of foreign governments stirring things up that really don't matter in their life. ("Putin's fingerprints are all over the Hamas attack" thehill.com ).

Of course, Prez elections are really close nowadays, what with Trump winning the Electoral College in 2016 by about the same number of votes (45,000) that Biden won in 2020. www.npr.org . So even a slight shift is enough to change the results. And then the Hamas-Lovers can see what a Trump 2.0 presidency has in store their beloved terrorists. Hint: "Former President Donald Trump declared Tuesday that Israel must finish the problem' in its war against Hamas" www.nbcnews.com

---- off Genocide lover.

You speak only for yourself and you're an -------.

Move to Israel and get killed in action. You know you want to.

With any luck, you'll get snuffed before you even get near Hamas.

"Come mothers and fathers throughout the land
And don't criticize what you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin"
