"I'm profoundly disturbed about the apparent direction of the court," J. Michael Luttig told me. "I now believe that it is unlikely Trump will ever be tried for the crimes he committed in attempting to overturn the 2020 election."

I think he's right.

And the entire world said "welll, Duh!" At the same time. It's not in the personal best overset of anyone on the court to substantiate his conviction.

I do mean this respectfully Gal, but it was obvious from the word go nothing would happened. I've literally said it from the time these "investigations" were announced.

The only one that had some teeth was the documents case, and that one was destroyed when Joe Biden had them in a box next to his corvette.

" the documents case, and that one was destroyed when Joe Biden had them in a box next to his corvette."

Oh, look: yet another Republican who can't tell the difference between cooperation and conspiracy.

Remind us: When did Biden delay and defy? When did Biden force lawyers to lie on his behalf, and when did Biden enlist others in his plot?

Pretending these are nearly the same is moronic. You'd have to be ignorant of the law's central tenet.

DANFORTH, only one of the two was allowed to take classified documents offsite. Can you tell the class which one that is? Keep in mind the one who wasn't allowed to take the documents offsite was committing a felony.

"Oh, look: yet another Republican"

They called them Republicans pre-Trump. Now they're just fascists.

Actually, Biden administration realized they had TS documents and manufactured the Trump document case to over shadow the Biden situation.

Worked brilliantly, see what you can do when you coordinate with the DOJ and NARA!

" ... only one of the two was allowed to take classified documents offsite."

Are you pretending Trump could literally declassify by thinking about it? The worst POSSIBLE option?!?

You're not just a moron, you're a dangerously stupid one.

The classified documents were not kept in a locked closet at the Penn Biden Center as the Biden team has asserted.

The timeline for packing up these documents starts six months prior to November by Kathy Chung.

Who of course never saw a classified document.

Lol sure ..

@#11 ... The classified documents were not kept in a locked closet at the Penn Biden Center as the Biden team has asserted. ...

Once the documents were found, did Pres Biden (and fmr VP Pence) work with the National Archives to retrun the documents to their rightful owner?

Now, answer that same question for fmr Pres Trump.

You brought up fmr Pres Obama.

What's your current alias got?

Please show how fmr Pres Obama was involved with something like this.

Come on. There are makeover differences between President Biden and Present Trump classified documents.

President Biden case: "hey, we found Classified documents we are very sorry for this, here's every single one of them."

President trumps case:

Please return the documents.

Silence

Please return the documents

Silence

Issue court order to take them back.

Act like an aggrieved child over it. Text NUMEROUS people to hide documents, to move them around, and otherwise conspire to cover it up.

Is that All the documents?

Of course!

Then get caught on a recording admitting you have more ...

These two things are NOT the same.

Your predictive powers are not so good. Remind me. Has Trumpy actually won a court case yet?

Trumpy is already a convicted fraudster so I predict he will also be found guilty of fraud in the Stormy Daniels hush money case.

And if he actually goes to trial in the other cases (as he should) then he will be found guilty there, also. Because he obviously is.

Meet me on the other side once Trumpy is convicted again. And then maybe we can discuss why you were so wrong. Again.

I can understand People having reservations about the hush money case, and even the fraud case involving taxes. Hell, even the January 6th case against Trump is an uphill slog for a prosecutor. Those three all had/have very narrow margins to reach preponderance of evidence and didn't/won't need much to delve into "reasonable doubt" territory.

But the documents case? That is one of the most open and shut cases I've ever seen in my life and I have some real experience bringing federal cases to grand jury. Anyone trying to minimize or dispute the case isn't living in reality.

Believe it or not, "he did it too" is not a defense to criminal allegations.

In topic, ive been saying Trump would slate on everything from day one, and it's funny to see professional take-havers just now realizing this.
