There were two physical altercations at party events; in one, a county chair named Mark DeYoung was allegedly kicked in the groin by an activist with a criminal history who was upset that a private meeting was taking place. ("He kicked me in my balls as soon as I opened the door," DeYoung told reporters. The ball-kicker, James Chapman, claimed DeYoung swung at him and added that DeYoung should have been prepared for retaliation when Chapman removed his glasses. "When you see me taking my glasses off, I'm ready to rock," he said. Chapman has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.

Michigan repugs make the smelly-------------'s FUPA swell with pride.

The GOP is already asking for volunteers to be poll watchers in November because they will not have the money for paid staff in many battleground states. But some crazy loudmouth part time insurance agent MAGA guy is not the same as an election lawyer, which is what the Right will need, but not have. Canvass door to door? Drive people to the polls? Call voters from campaign HQ? Much of that will not get done because activities like that don't require a big mouth and a Trump flag ...

Speaking of flags, I did see an artist rendition of the new American flag that Trump plans to hoist to commemorate the new lifetime GOP administration.

It still resembles the red, white and blue of Old Glory except the number of stars will be limited to red states only and will be arranged in the shape of a cross which, if you look closely, also looks like a "T."

Naw. It was a T-shirt vendor in China. They're offering to turn the cross into a "T" with an order from Trump for a minimum of one million (or more) shirts after he is elected.

They want a government contract.

If he's elected, they're convinced the idea will appeal to Trump's ego.

They might be right. I suppose the object lesson is to have more people arrested and charged with treason if they continue to display the original American Flag.

Their actual platform probably has generic platitudes about small government and opposing Ukraine, because Republicans are now overt traitors who hate the US and democracy.

But what they will run on is (1) fear and hatred of brown people; (2) price gouging at grocery stores; and (3) whatever fake panic they fabricate in October, maybe with help from Russia or some other corrupt --------.
