Sometimes he accidentally tells the truth. Really needs to work on that.

Pretty sure he said "I'm a Christian" or "I'm, eh, Christian." Knowing Trump, he probably deliberately garbled it just to troll.

He said it in such a way that you can hear what you want to hear. If you want to vote for him you heard I'm er Christian if you don't want to vote for him you heard I'm not a Christian. Not worth arguing with anyone about because they will be just as right in their opinion as you are in yours.

Maybe they were cheering because he isn't Christian, at least not by thought, word, deed, or whether the Bible is held right side up.
