"Leo has spent more than two decades at the influential Federalist Society, guiding conservative judges into the federal courts and the Supreme Court itself.

In 2018, conservative justice Clarence Thomas joked that Leo was the third most important person in the world.

In 2020, after Trump lost the election, Leo stepped back from running the daily operations of the Federalist Society, while remaining its co-chair.

The following year, Leo founded Marble, with a $1.6bn donation from electronic device manufacturing mogul Barre Seid, to be a counterweight to what he said was "dark money" of the left. He spent about $600mn in its first three years, according to public financial disclosures."

more on Barre Seid, the Tripp Lite King...

"Seid opposed the ban of DDT and funded activists and researchers who opposed the ban.[5] Seid's giving reflects his belief that global warming is not the result of human emissions."

"In 2020, Seid donated Tripp Lite to the newly created nonprofit group Marble Freedom Trust headed by Leonard Leo, a conservative legal activist.

In March 2021, Marble Freedom Trust sold Tripp Lite to the Eaton Corporation for $1.65 billion.[2][1]
The donation was made anonymously, but Seid's identity was first confirmed by The New York Times based on public financial disclosures.[4][1]

The New York Times described the donation as "among the largest single contributions ever to a politically focused nonprofit."[1]"

This is the Big Money that perverted our form of Gov from of, by, and for the People to for Corporate Personhood; Super People who make the laws that favor them by owing a few SC Justices and most of Congress because of such laws as CU.

Now they are going to use that Big Money to get rid of Fed Regulations and create laws that profit the Big Corporations and themselves, ie; people like Leo, Donny, Elon, et al.

The Very Sad part is that some Trumpers who, like Dems, didn't like the Est GOP, and fell for the Con that Trump was on their side.

He ain't. Never was, never has been, never will be.

There's an investigative podcast series on Leo Leonard. It's call "We Don't Talk About Leonard". Definitely worth a listen.

I'll wager that the vast majority of corporate poobahs will ignore this attempt, concerned that doing Leo's bidding will jeopardize the company stock price, and after, the jobs of corporate leadership...
