Judge Receives Threats After Sentencing Election Denier

A rural Colorado county courthouse beefed up security Friday after threats were made against staff and a judge who sentenced former county clerk Tina Peters to nearly nine years behind bars and admonished her for her role in a data breach scheme catalyzed by the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

Of course the judge received threats. An entirely expected outcome. MAGA really is ready for the dissolution of democracy. Afterwards, and this is really quite funny, they think that they will be free.

Well, if and when Trump loses and he faces two or three federal felony trials, I would expect he would call for disruption on a major scale...Dictators don'.t like anyone else but them being in charge.
And if he wins, the judiciary will be in even greater danger, as he will have his gang running the DOJ and the Department of Defense, and the Department of Education...

Trump just wants to reduce the Dept. of Education down to the size of a thimble. Somebody has to be sitting at a desk to order and pay (with taxpayer money) for all those fake leather-bound Bibles from Trump's new Bible printing company at $300 a pop. The Governor of Oklahoma already has a pending order in for thousands of copies for Oklahoma classrooms.

I agree. However the type of inspection should be read-only and shown in a manner that protects the integrity of the data. Not, e.g., by giving out the access passwords to the voting machines.
