Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, October 12, 2024

Vice President Harris on Saturday released a medical report, a document that her campaign will use to try to draw another contrast with former President Donald Trump. This is the first time Harris, 59, has released a medical report. Similar to reports released by previous commanders-in-chief, the two-page letter from Dr. Joshua Simmons, her White House Medical Unit physician since Jan. 2021, says that Harris is in excellent health and has "the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency."

... At a local restaurant in Raleigh, she will meet with local black elected, faith, and community leaders, and work with local volunteers to prepare supplies for Hurricane Helene relief efforts, according to her campaign.

Before heading to North Carolina, she took aim at Trump's mental acuity.

"I invite the public to watch Trump's rallies and be the decision maker on his acuity," she said, according to her spokesman.

"You will see how he goes off on tangents, how he is not focused on the needs of the American people."

Democrats have been on the attack about Trump's age and mental fitness, after months of Republicans lobbing the same criticisms at Joe Biden before he exited the race. ...

JOSHUA R. SIMMONS, M.D., FAAEM
PHYSICIAN TO THE VICE PRESIDENT
Healthcare Statement

The following is a summary of the current health status and medical history of Vice President Kamala D. Harris. I have been her primary care physician for the last three and a half years since the start of the current administration. She completed her most recent annual physical exam during the month of April 2024. I performed and supervised the exam with the appropriate specialty consultations and diagnostic testing.

With Vice President Harris' consent, I release the following health information: Vice President Harris is a healthy 59-year-old female who has a medical history notable for seasonal allergies and urticaria. Her allergic symptoms primarily consist of allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis and have previously been well-managed with over-the-counter and prescription medications such as Allegra (fexofenadine), Atrovent (ipratropium bromide) nasal spray and Pataday (olopatadine) eye drops. The urticaria are sporadic and transient and do not seem to be triggered by any particular exposure nor are they associated with other symptoms. The urticaria also have responded very well to antihistamine therapy (Allegra). The patient has been on allergen immunotherapy (AIT) for the past three years. As a result, her allergy symptoms and urticaria have improved dramatically to the point that she has had not needed any medication for management of these symptoms apart from occasional nasal Atrovent for rhinitis.

Notably, she has never experienced severe symptoms, angioedema, or anaphylaxis. Vice President Harris has mild myopia (nearsightedness). She wears corrective contact lenses with resultant 20/20 vision. She is able to read comfortably without contacts or glasses. Vice President Harris' family history is notable for a maternal history of colon cancer. She has no personal history of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cardiac disease, pulmonary ...

What if fmr Pres Trump had allowed similar detail to be released in his medical reports?

Stated differently, compare the above PDF released by VP Harris' doctor with her permission with what fmr Pres Trump seems to be allowed to be released...

Truth From President Donald J. Trump (November 2023)

...
November 20, 2023

I have been President Donald J. Trump's personal physician since 2021. During this time, I have conducted several comprehensive examinations, the most recent being September 13, 2023, and have supervised specialist consultations along with ancillary testing for screening and preventative health maintenance.

I am pleased to report that President Trump's overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional. In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction.

Cardiovascular studies are all normal and cancer screening tests are all negative. President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule. It is my opinion that President Trump is currently in excellent health, and with his continued interest in preventative health monitoring and maintenance, he will continue to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle for years to come.

For starters, how can a person who seems to be so obese be "well within the normal range?"

Obama, Biden, and Harris the devolution of Democrat competence and a display of the contempt the oligarchy. Just vote as you're told and keep the graft coming.

Alex,

Trump hasn't been convicted of rape.

To your accusations....I don't care.

I haven't heard anything that disqualifes him as far as I'm concerned.

Where the rubber meets the road, "Who would I rather see in office...Harris or Trump?"

....my answer is Trump.

The Democratic Party leaders are lying villians masqueradingas as "the moral party".

Judge clarifies: Yes, Trump was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll (www.washingtonpost.com).

Bottom line?

"The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was raped' within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump raped' her as many people commonly understand the word rape,' " [Judge Lewis A.] Kaplan wrote.

He added: "Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that."

Doc,

I've read her account of the event going to another floor with Trump several years ago.

I won't go into it but I doubted the veracity of the events she described long before it went to trial.

It didn't add up.

Laura,

I hadn't voted for Trump yet when I read the article.

I voted for Obama both times...btw.

This was years ago I read the piece describing the sequence of events. One particular part of her story was so unlikely to have occured in the store I thought how can this possibly be believed.

Her description how she ended up alone with him had parts that were unlikely to have happened as she described in that setting.

Your right. A jury, however, found differently.

Laura,

In fact back at that time I saw Trump as an opportunist who incorporated bankruptcy as part of his business plan. Not exactly impressed. I still am not in agreement with his personal life choices.

He became the republican candidate and managed to gain grass roots support from everyday people with conservative values, including me, as the Democratic Party went extreme.

Doc,

"Your right. A jury, however, found differently."

That didn't make the account any more believable.

It still doesn't add up.

I have lost a great deal of confidence in the legal process.

Corruption had infiltrated the media, the government and the courts.

But of course.

That was the goal for Trump and the Trumpanzees all along.

You swallowed it hook-line-and-stinker.

Hans,

I bet you're the type who thinks everyone is stupid but you.

Pay attention to yourself when you have conversations.

Do you spend a lot of time belittling people and waxing soliloquies?

#32 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2024-10-13 09:35 AM | Reply

#32 | Posted by BILLJOHNSON

Nope. I am old enough to know my strengths and weaknesses.

The weaknesses of Trumpanzees, like you, is that you are, indeed, stupid.

You parrot exactly what your handlers tell you to say ("I have lost a great deal of confidence in the legal process. Corruption had infiltrated the media, the government and the courts.").

You hate America so much that you want all of its pillars torn down and swept away, making room for America's own version of Hitler (h/t to JD Vance).

So, yeah, belittling you is fun and therapeutic.

Oh, and last Spring my bride and I spent two weeks in Germany/Bavaria and Upper Austria. This included a tour through Dachau. That "camp" started out as a place for liberals, social democrats, members of the press, and, of course, homosexuals (think: pink triangles). The Jews came later.

So, take your impotent so-called thoughts and shove them in one of your bodily orifices.

You are as transparent as pure O2.
