It's not fear. It's hatred.

And Trump didn't make them hate trans. They always hated them. Trump just tapped into it, like he did with the Mexican rapists and the Hatians eating cats. Just like the GOP exploited hatred of Blacks with Welfare Queens in the 80's and the ghey's in the 90's with DOMA.
