Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has backed US President Donald Trump's proposal to "take over" Gaza, as Israel's army was ordered to prepare plans for large numbers of Palestinians to leave the territory.

"Trump's plan triggered an enormous backlash, with leaders from the Middle East and beyond rejecting it as unworkable and illegal.

But Netanyahu insisted the plan - which Trump said would involve sending Gaza's residents to neighboring countries and taking "long-term ownership" of the enclave - was a "remarkable idea."

Ah... the Trump Gaza Riviera. Reserve your condo today!

On the subject of a "remarkable idea," I read a recent interview with singer Cindi Lauper . Here is a good life observation from her:

Matters weren't helped by Lauper's sometimes antagonistic relationship with record company executives. "I was fighting all the time. But you don't need to fight. It took me a while to understand that if someone suggests something you don't want to do, you can just say, That's very interesting.' "
What did she say before she learnt that? "When I get a f***ing lobotomy, I'll do that."

(As one of those "When I get a..." types, I can say hers are words of wisdom!)

Apparently that's what his Team was saying when DJT talked about it for the first time publicly.

Netanyahu is grabbing this gift as fast as he can.

"Hey. don't blame us, it's America's Fault!".

Trump is just trying to make sure that "Palestine is free."* Like all those Jill Stein and Muslim Trump voters wanted.

They've tried to relocate Palestinians many times before. Jordan, Egypt, Saudi...they always get sent back. Nobody wants them.

Rumor has it that some African nations might take them ... for the right price.

They all deny it, but Congo-Palestinians (Congo-Pal?) has a nice ring to it.
