Pentagon to Restore Fort Liberty's Name to Fort Bragg
The Pentagon is changing the name of the military base Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg, reversing a decision made by a congressionally mandated commission to rename bases that honor Confederate generals.

The USSECDEF is attending the NATO Ministers of Defense conference in Brussels. This summit is where the sycophantic dry drunk Pete Hegseth will parrot Kremlin talking points about Ukraine's corruption and the need to hold elections. One Pravda report accuses President Volodomyr Zelensky of losing 200 billion of dollars of US funds. Uh-huh.
Misogynist drunkard racist Pete Hegseth is someone all Americans can be proud of representing the US at the NATO meeting. Here he is proudly wearing a T-shirt with a roll of toilet paper on it.

I beg of all of you, please resize photos when posting. You just ruin the formatting and the thread. This is impossible to read on the phone.

Does not sound like they are saving money by going back and forth on these names. Although, the fact that the right wingers wish to keep the names of confederate heroes(losers) on these bases says more about them then it does the issue; traitors supporting old traitors. Go figure?

There is only one reason they changed the name of that fort. (Again). And it wasn't to bring down the cost of eggs.
It was for "Bragging" rights.

I think the Wiki page for Braxton Bragg tells it well:
"Bragg is generally considered among the worst generals of the Civil War. Most of the battles he engaged in ended in defeat. Bragg was extremely unpopular with both the officers and ordinary men under his command, who criticized him for numerous perceived faults, including poor battlefield strategy, a quick temper, and overzealous discipline. Bragg has a generally poor reputation with historians...The losses suffered by Bragg's forces are cited as highly consequential to the ultimate defeat of the Confederate States of America."
A great example for the American military. Their army could use more leaders like Gen. Bragg --V. Putin, noted observer of American military forces
Him again?!? I kicked the stuffing out of him and his cowardly men, and yet his name is still uttered in polite society... --US Grant, one of the greatest US generals during the Civil War
