When I was a kid, I remember going outside to play, but I came back into the the house because the air outside was making my eyes burn.

We (my friends and I) also used to notice what we called the "ring around the horizon."

A brownish-orange area near the horizon is all directions cause by the pollutants in the air.

And in the 70's when I was in college, I went sailing with a friend who was in the campus yacht club. We sailed on the Hudson River. When I got back, a day or so later, I noticed my sneakers were falling apart. I mentioned that to my friend and he said, ~yeah, the water of the Hudson tends to dissolve glue.~

Let's go back to those days just so the oligarchs can make more money.
