The prosecuting attorney wants Patrick Crusius convicted of first-degree murder, while Defense Counsel is throwing a "Hail Mary" pass to save his client's life since Texas leads the US in executions since 1976. A jury may not find Crusius guilty of first-degree murder, but perhaps second-degree after seeing the videos. This case and the Luigi Mangione are the ones to monitor for the political implications.
