Eleven US cities will be hosting matches during the World Cup, scheduled from 11 June through 19 July.
Match-day room rates in host cities including Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, and San Francisco have dropped about a third from their peak earlier this year.
Analysts blamed dissatisfaction with Dummkopf Trumpf's junta and its xenophobic visa and immigration policies, ICE thuggery, as well as the instability and anti-American sentiments triggered by the illegal US-Israeli war against the people of Iran, for cooling international demand: "Obviously, people's desire to come to the United States right now is down."
Last year, FIFA projected that millions of international visitors would give the US a $30.5 billion economic boost during the concomitant 2026 celebration of America250, but the nefarious Trumpf junta squandered this golden economic opportunity.
Canada and Mexico, who are co-hosting FIFA 2026 games, are expected to economically benefit from the tournament. For Canada, this may be a $3.8 billion boost for its economy; Mexico will see a smaller economic gain.
