Hospitals in Mississippi -- already strained under the costs of caring for a high rate of patients without health insurance and with low-reimbursement plans, such as Medicaid -- are expected to lose $1 billion over the course of the next decade as a result of President Donald Trump's sweeping tax and spending bill signed into law in July.

$1 Trillion in permanent tax cuts direct primarily at the top 10% paid for by $1 Trillion in health care spending cuts directly 100% at the bottom 90% of taxpayers.

And I guarantee you they will cry and bitch about the loss of their health care, but will still vote solid red.

I'd say "you get what you voted for," but unfortunately there are people in Mississippi who didn't vote for this who are still going to be hurt by it.

Mr. Big Shot rich guy in a rural county enjoys his tax cut until the night he has a heart attack and the nearest emergency room is 100 miles away. The ambulance service went broke too and the only helipad was at the hospital but is now a trailer park.
