The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that consumers can't use state courts to bring "failure-to-warn" lawsuits against manufacturers that don't warn of hazards surrounding their products.

First (but *not* last) ruling from #SCOTUS is in Monsanto. For a 7-2 Court (with Gorsuch and Jackson dissenting), Justice Kavanaugh holds that federal law *preempts* state-law failure-to-warn claim that would've required Monsanto to add a cancer warning to Roundup's label:
