NEW: The Colorado Supreme Court squashed a Democratic redistricting effort aimed at countering GOP gerrymanders ahead of the 2028 elections. The effort sought to ask voters to let the state temporarily sidestep the state's independent redistricting commission to draw a more blue-leaning map.
