President-elect Donald Trump's team was fed questions by a Fox News insider before an Iowa town hall in January 2024, a forthcoming book by Politico reporter Alex Isenstadt has alleged.

It hardly matters if Trump was fed the questions. Trump will say whatever he wants, whether it answers the question or not or even if it answers a question that's not being asked. You can ask Trump a question but Trump answers are just free association of what's on his mind in that moment. It's beautiful.
