I heard about that. They should probably inventory the house silverware. I believe in rehab, but some of those felons can have sticky fingers.

... The outcome cements Trump's conviction while freeing him to return to the White House unencumbered by the threat of a jail term or a fine. ...
Also, as I understand it, Pres-elect Trump can now appeal, something he could not do until he was sentenced.
The Prosecutor's comment ...

... Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass said in court that Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts punishable by one to four years in prison, but recommended the judge hand down "a sentence of unconditional release" given the unique circumstances of the case. "We must be respectful of the office of the presidency, and mindful of the fact that this defendant will be inaugurated as president in ten days," Steinglass said, while also saying that Trump has acted like he's "above the law" throughout the case, including with his frequent verbal attacks on the judge, prosecutors and even their family members. A most interesting, never seen before, lawsuit where the NYC shysters took a misdemeanor, beyond the statute of limitations, brought it forward as a felony and separated out into multiple charge. Lawfare at its worst, and such will never be seen again as extremely questionable. Just political theater to try to destroy Trump, and the best thing about it is the libbie dems FAIURE to stop The DONALD : )
Failures is a good name for dems in politics.

Donald is a felon. i.e., an official criminal.
Doesn't seem like a failure to me.

The accompanying crime was election interference in 2016. That is what made these charges level up into felonies.

This is just an excuse so that they can continue to "stick" it to the average guy. If justice were truly blind, there would be no such thing as "unique circumstances".
