TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim February 9, 2025, as Gulf of America Day. I call upon public officials and all the people of the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities."

He does have this weird power to get folks to believe in him, but I believe he's just a tool.
The main thing I did underestimate is regular folk's desire to be lied to.

Same here... and also I also underestimate their capacity to discern fact from fiction; even worse, their lack of desire or will to even try to do so.

We live in a 'meme universe' and 'vibe world' now where the 'News' from the Media is apparently confused with Reality TV shows. Not taken particularly seriously.

Like the news today is another Episode of another Sequel from The Apprentice.

Interestingly, to me at least, DJT is totally sticking with Trump45 as his logo, not going to bother with 47. And why should he, he'd just have to change it again to Trump48!

I also saw an interview from his Fox appearance where he's asked if Shady JD will be #48... and he quickly practically yells out, "NO!". It was definitely entertaining, I have to admit.
