Russia unleashed one of its largest drone and missile barrages of the war on Ukraine overnight, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens across the country. The strikes underscored how months of diplomatic efforts to broker a cease-fire have failed to yield a breakthrough. nyti.ms/3Fq24PE

@#2 ... Trump is busy now ...

Trump shows unusual patience as Putin stalls on Ukraine
www.axios.com

... President Trump has repeatedly shifted his positions on Ukraine to accommodate Russian President Vladimir Putin, even as Putin has given very little in return.

Why it matters: Trump's critics claim he's getting played -- that Putin has no intention of making peace and is stringing him along. But White House officials tell Axios they still believe Putin is about to take tangible steps towards a deal.

The big picture: For now, Trump has given Putin much of what the Russian president had hoped for: no ceasefire, no more sanctions, an intra-NATO divide, and a remarkable amount of leeway from a U.S. leader not known for his patience. ...

Is Pres Trump's task regrading Ukraine done?

Pres Trump seems to have already given Pres Putin what he wanted in this first phase.

So, what else is there for Pres Trump to do at this point?

Maybe cede more of Ukraine's sovereign territory to Pres Putin?

Oh, wait ...

What were VP Vance's recent comments about?

@#5 ... Silence? That would be an improvement. ...

Yup.

Pres Trump and VP Vance both seem to be actively telling Pres Putin to go further in his invasion of a sovereign Ukraine.

Why?

So, your current alias has got nothing besides a lame deflection attempt?

Maybe start up a new thread with that question?

Otherwise, it looks to be irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Yeah, the photos from that Helsinki meeting look to be quite revealing of the servitude aspect of Pres Trump towards Pres Putin.

Trumpanzee insisted on a military parade to celebrate his birthday. The first preznit in US to do something that vain... like they do in Russia and North Korea...

He says we need to demonstrate our pride by showing its might... and strength... with a parade

Meanwhile... back at the Kremlin... Putin says... ppppfffttt... someone... hold my Wad-kah...

"US silence' encouraging Putin"

Uh huh. No one was more silent about the subject than the Biden Administration.

I agree. Biden wasn't assertive enough on the issue. But Biden isn't President anymore.

So when is Trump going to tell Putin to GTFO of Ukraine?

Biden called Putin a war criminal while the------------- referred to his boss as a savvy genius.

I'm not sure, but you gave the last guy 4 years to do absolutely nothing about it. The new dude has only been in office for 4 months. Funny how all of a sudden democrats are demanding results.

Actually, Republicans (you) spent the time doing everything they could to limit his ability to do anything about it.

Just curious, how would the death and destruction, the stalemate and end the war? Might have helped before the war, it America had shown some resolve, and actually had a living President. Instead Weekend with Biden was in full swing, worried about White Supremacists.

See he could feel that, and believe its best to do, but he, like Biden before him doesn't and can't control Russia.

Why are Americans so nationalistic as to think the world responds to their threats any longer? The world has caught on, American foreign policy is a disaster every 4 -8ys it changes. Not good or bad, it just changes, so just wait out the change. Or strike when the iron is hot, which is what Putin did.

But Biden isn't President anymore.

But you defended Biden, and now you're complaining about Trump.

Talk about a hack. My stance has been consistent throughout, America's strangulation of Russia began as NATO moved EAST.

Bush Obama, and Biden have all contributed to Russia's worry about NATO. Why not just expand the EU?

Instead you want to put Nukes in the Russian equivalent to Cuba.

I still remember the day Russia attacked the Ukraine, Trumper were posting their praises of Putin, quoting Trump tweet calling Putin a "Savvy Genius!"

Republicans are doing everything they can to help Putin.

Including the ones posting on this thread.
